Hi there

I am glad that you found the way to my blog. I like to share with you the fascination of nature, which accompanies me since childhood. I have been addicted to nature since I was little. As a child loved everything from insects to amphibians .I collected caterpillars, fed them and waited till they turned into butterflies! It was fascinating to see them grow and set them free in the end. My favorite kind was and still is the Swallowtail.

As I grew older, my interests shifted towards technical devices like computers and particularly cameras. My first one being a digital camera with 1.3 megapixel.

In 2010 I bought my first SLR camera and was completely hooked from day one . Year by year I have bought and sold my equipment to upgrade to newer lenses and cameras to be able to make always better pictures. So far so good – it was a great learning-by-doing process.

Taking pictures is like collecting stamps –trying to capture every animal I can see to complete my collection. I can sit for hours and hours outside to observe the animals – it never bores me. To be in the nature, listening to the noises of the animals, waiting and hoping to get a great shot. And the smell of the fresh leaves and trees in the forest or the dried out bushland even makes it better Being in nature means complete freedom to me.

Photography is a joy and I hope in sharing my shots I can pass along some of my fascination on to you. Get a glimpse of wilderness and start to imagine how the feeling of complete freedom can be.
